IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) is not present in the last 4 generations.
(IVDD is the common cause of back disability in 8 or so small dog breeds. Genetic testing is unavailable so we monitor by veterinary exam and heritance.)
Eyes, teeth, patellas, hips, and testies are observably good and will be examined by a USDA Veterinarian prior to rehoming.
(Please note: We recommend formal patella testing generally be done after 2-years of age.)

Welcome! Royalworth's Heroic Hank is a delightful, traditional English shaded cream male longhaired miniature Dachshund puppy who is ready to embark on a lifelong adventure with a loving family.
Hank's projected adult weight is 11lbs, making him a great size. He should be large enough to independently get into a car or onto furniture or enjoy more physical activities and longer walks. However, Hank is still small enough for easy air travel and carrying, when needed, providing convenience and flexibility in your adventures together.
As a male Dachshund, Hank possesses all the wonderful qualities that make this breed special. His mellow temperament, sweet nature, and affectionate personality make him a true joy to have as a companion. Hank loves to cuddle and play, bringing lots of smiles to those around him.
Hank's coat is a beautiful shaded English cream, adding to his visual appeal. His color is characteristic of a traditional English Cream Dachshund, which is preferred by many AKC judges, as it accentuates his form and makes his expression particularly striking. Additionally, the cream dachshunds have been studied by the UK Dachshund Breed Council and were shown to have a more mellow temperament, further emphasizing Hank's calm and gentle nature.
In terms of health, Hank comes from a lineage with no known health exceptions. His parents are genetically clear and structurally sound providing Hank with a healthy start in life. We prioritize the health of our puppies, and Hank is no exception.
Hank was born on March 9th, 2023, and is at a great age for adoption. He has already benefited from early training and socialization through Puppy Culture activities. Hank has started his training journey with a reputable Hernando County Trainer, where he is learning essential tasks such as "Place," "Look," and leash etiquette. He is crate trained and has established an indoor/outdoor potty routine, which lays a solid foundation for his ongoing training.
With a predicted adult energy level of 4 on a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high), Hank strikes a perfect balance between activity and relaxation. He will enjoy playtime, walks, and adventures, while also being content to snuggle up with his loved ones.
